Our client is a leader in their field and is seeking a new member to join the team. As the AS400 Systems Administrator you will be responsible for managing the AS400 system, to ensure it operates smoothly.
Overall, the responsibility of this role will include systems configuration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, user management and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Key Aspects of the Role:
- Ensure optimal performance, reliability and security of the AS400 system
- Configure and maintain AS400 hardware and software components
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting issues
- Managing user accounts, permissions and access controls according to security policies
- Work with other technology teams
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users and technology staff
- Document systems configurations, procedures and troubleshooting
Along with your own responsibilities you will collaborate with other technology teams to integrate A00 systems with other platforms and applications.
This role is a Hybrid model where you are required to be in the office 3 days a week. You will participate as part of an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies outside of core hours, if necessary.
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Permanent Resident, an Australian Citizen or hold a Valid Working Permit
