Join a well-established organisation experiencing continued growth both across Australia and globally, in this newly created position. Based within the operations team, you will collaborate closely with data analytics and broader business functions to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory obligations and sustainability reporting standards.
A key focus of this role will be managing compliance with local and global financial regulations and standards.
The role will involve a range or responsibilities which will include: –
- Coordinate and oversee sustainability regulation reporting process along with other reporting standards
- Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organisation, building strong relationships internally and externally
- Ensure ongoing compliance with evolving regulatory requirements
- Manage internal stakeholder collaboration to review regulation pre-contractual disclosures, website disclosures, and periodic reports in line with updated obligations
- Lead the agreement and sign-off process with relevant business units for updates to sustainability-related disclosures under specific regulations and other standards
- Coordinate updates and testing (both functional and non-functional) of third-party platforms used to gather sustainability data from assets
- Organise the review of data definitions and ensure proposed changes are implemented and approved as needed
- Oversee data collection, validation, and reporting on sustainability metrics to support the organisation’s commitment to transparency and sustainable finance
You will bring your experience in: –
- Stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate across various internal teams
- Financial services or asset management, particularly within sustainability, operations, or compliance reporting
- Risk and compliance functions, including assessing impacts on reporting obligations and communicating changes effectively
- Coordinating translation requirements for international reporting
- Understanding of systems used for institutional or investment data
- Familiarity with pension funds or institutional investors, along with an understanding of global sustainability trends
- Commercial acumen, with a solid grasp of financial metrics and performance drivers
