We are seeking a skilled SAP Business Analyst (Finance) to take a central role in the initial discovery phase of our client’s SAP S/4HANA implementation. Working closely with the finance, vendor and technical teams you be responsible for driving the discovery phase which includes requirements gathering, process mapping, workshopping and looking at the consolidation of financial processes.
What you will be doing in this role……
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather and document current financial processes, workflows, and requirements
- Conduct business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements aligned with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and develop process maps, functional specifications, and documentation for finance workstreams
- Define the current and future state process maps
- Partner with IT teams and SAP consultants to ensure requirements are accurately translated into system designs and integrations.
- Identify gaps between current processes and SAP best practices, providing optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency
- Support change management by documenting process changes, assessing their impact, and contributing to the finance transformation roadmap
Key skillset required for this role….
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with good understand of SAP Finance (FI/CO) projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules and key financial processes.
- Experience working in S/4 HANA Implementations
- Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and functional documentation.
- Experience in all phases SAP projects specifically the discovery phase
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication abilities
