Are you passionate about high-quality data and its ability to impact real-world research outcomes? We’re seeking a Clinical Research Data Lead to spearhead the delivery of accurate, well-managed, and impactful data that fuels our clients cutting-edge health research.
In this pivotal role, you will combine deep technical expertise with a strong focus on data quality and data management, helping ensure our client’s research datasets are not only powerful but also reliable, validated, and trusted.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing scalable, automated cloud-based data pipelines that deliver timely, consistent data
- Building and managing end-to-end data workflows, from ingestion to delivery, with rigorous data validation and integrity checks
- Curating researcher-ready datasets that are accurate, relevant, version-controlled, and fully validated
- Engineering survey data pipelines using Python/R and cloud services
- Automating data profiling and generating reports, using visualisation tools to surface quality metrics, identify issues, and resolve them efficiently
- Creating and maintaining robust metadata systems, including data dictionaries, ontology mapping, and deduplication strategies—designed for clarity, consistency, and long-term usability
- Collaborating across teams to embed strong data management practices, governance principles, and scalable infrastructure across the data lifecycle
What we’re looking for:
- A tertiary qualification (Honours, Masters, or PhD) in computer science, data science, statistics, epidemiology, health informatics, or a related field
- Strong experience in managing health or epidemiological data,
- Advanced knowledge of cloud data services (Azure, AWS or GCP) and programming in Python or R
- A solid foundation in data governance, documentation, and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Proven ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments
