An opportunity exists for an accomplished professional to drive enterprise-wide AI and digital transformation initiatives within a complex and evolving organisation. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering a strategic agenda that embeds advanced technology into core business operations, enabling innovation, efficiency and measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central leader for AI initiatives across the organisation, translating emerging capabilities into practical, value-driven business solutions
- Define, maintain and execute a comprehensive artificial intelligence roadmap aligned to broader transformation objectives
- Develop robust investment proposals, clearly articulating business challenges, proposed solutions and expected financial and operational benefits
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities and define requirements for transformation initiatives
- Establish performance measures and success indicators to assess outcomes and ensure benefits are realised in line with expectations
- Uphold governance standards, ensuring all initiatives align with data, ethical, and security frameworks
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Oversee the full delivery lifecycle of initiatives, ensuring outcomes are achieved to agreed scope, quality, and timelines
- Manage external partners and suppliers, ensuring high performance, accountability, and delivery against contractual commitments
This role will best fit someone who has led small to medium-sized digital or data transformations within large organisations. It is not a ‘hands-on’ technical role; it is an enablement and engagement position.
- Strong ability to engage, influence and align stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives
- Deep understanding of AI, ML and data-driven approaches, with the ability to apply these to real business challenges
- Proven success in delivering measurable commercial outcomes through transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing high-quality business cases and investment submissions that clearly articulate value
- Experience in organisational change, driving adoption of new technologies and embedding new ways of working
