We’re partnering with a leading organisation that is continuing to mature its data and analytics capability and is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join the team.
This role will play a key part in building end-to-end data products, taking ownership of the organisation’s reporting suite and partnering closely with stakeholders across the business. You’ll work across the full analytics lifecycle from understanding business challenges and gathering requirements through to developing data models, building reporting solutions and delivering insights that support better decision-making.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being the link between data and the business. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, understand their needs, translate complex requirements into scalable analytics solutions and ensure reporting continues to deliver commercial value. You’ll also collaborate with external stakeholder groups and internal teams to deliver improvements across the reporting and data landscape.
Key responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the organisation’s reporting suite, ensuring solutions are accurate, scalable and aligned to business requirements.
- Design, develop and deliver end-to-end data products, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, identify opportunities and translate business needs into effective data solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, database views and reporting datasets to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions using modern BI tools to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, governance and overall analytics capability.
- Act as a trusted business partner by providing insights, recommendations and analytical expertise to support commercial outcomes.
About you:
- Proven experience working as a Senior Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Analytics Developer within a commercial environment.
- Strong experience delivering end-to-end data products and reporting solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience developing data models, database views and optimised reporting datasets.
- Experience designing and developing reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills, with the ability to build relationships across technical teams, business users and senior leadership.
- Ability to understand business problems, challenge requirements where needed and deliver practical data-driven solutions.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of initiatives from concept through to delivery.
