Our client is well regarded within the Financial Services space over the last 20 years. Their role is to generate high, risk adjusted returns over the long-term. Due to an exciting growth period they are searching for an experienced Senior Quantitative Developer to join their team.
Key duties will include:
- Work closely with investment teams to understand their needs from a data and analytics perspective
- Develop new models, uplift existing ones, data engineering and automating manual processes
- Align solutions to development frameworks, technology stack and documentation standards
- Provide ongoing support for delivered solutions
- Assist broad range of stakeholders is locating most appropriate data for their purposes
- Enhance capabilities to measure and report on data
Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this position you will have the following attributes:
- Degree qualified in numerical field (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computer Science)
- Demonstrated development experience in Python
- Experience in HTML & Javascript, as well as UI Frameworks (JQuery, Vue)
- SQL for data modelling
- Ability to understand and analyse critical business requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
