FINANCE OFFICER – $55,000-$58,000 PLUS SUPER

An Accounts Officer role has become available with an exciting and growing FMCG business based in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. They are experiencing significant growth in the Australian market with their products becoming day to day household products. As a result of growth they require a dynamic and enthusiastic Accounts Officer to join their team.

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for Accounts Receivable and accounts payable liaising directly with customers to ensure receivables are collected on a timely basis and respond to customer queries regarding outstanding balances. Additionally, managing the creation of Customer Accounts and ensuring the credit risk is managed appropriately. In addition you will be responsible for raising purchase orders and reconciling payments and processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

Key responsibilities will include:

Allocation of payments and account reconciliations
Rebates processing and cheque banking
Review credit limits and risk levels of customers
Vendor statement reconciliations
Processing of banking, EFT, cash and cheque payments
Applicants must be experience and have a proven background in accounts payable and receivables and have experience of working with ERP systems. You will need to be a strong communicator and have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
