We are working with a leading financial services organisation with a major presence in Australia and globally that is seeking an experienced Data Strategy Lead to join their team on a 7.5-month FTC. This role, reporting into the head of the function, will be responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of the organisation’s data strategy to support its future data needs.
What you will be doing in this role…….
- Working closely with leadership teams across the organisation to promote and implement the data strategy
- Establish clear communication channels with operational and technical teams within the organisation
- Engage closely with service providers and external consultants to establish best practices and solutions to ensure that technology, operating models, and business strategy are all aligned
- and meet the needs of the business stakeholders
- Discuss and implement data models and integrations with business functions to assess implications and benefits
- Lead data governance and data management initiatives to improve BAU and strategic deliverables
- Implement target state operating models by working closely with senior leadership to streamline data processes and establish effective data solutions
Key skills you will require for this role………
- Over 8 years of experience working within the financial services sector
- Proven experience across data strategy, architecture, and governance
- Strong expertise in the implementation of data strategy within enterprise environments
- Experience working closely with service providers and external consultants to evaluate and assess technical solutions
- Strong project management skills, specifically in governance and senior stakeholder engagement
