We are currently working with an exciting financial services organisation that is seeking an experienced Reporting Lead to join their high performing team and assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI reports that are critical to their current data initiative. This role is reporting directly to Data and Insights Manager and will be responsible for owning and leading the relevant data deliverables as well as building strong relationships within the organisation.
This role does not have any direct reports but it will be responsible for leading end to end deliverables associated with Power BI development.
What you will be doing………
- Working with SMEs to gather, document and translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Communicate with various stakeholder groups and establish positive relationships
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
- Validating data sources, extracting data, and loading data into the relevant tables
- Ensuring that all relevant data sets are reliable and accurate
- Working with testing teams to ensure that Power BI solutions are functional and performing to a quality standard
To be considered for this role…….
- You will have over 5 years of experience working within data analytics/business intelligence
- You will have extensive experience working within the banking/financial services domain
- Strong skills across Power BI development
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working within an agile environment
- Exposure to data warehousing and dimensional modelling
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0
This role is a hybrid working model and is 2 days a week in the office.
