Power BI Developer

We are currently partnering with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join an established team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers. This role will play a key part in strengthening data modelling practices and delivering engaging, insight-driven dashboards across multiple business units. You will be responsible for designing scalable reporting solutions, with a strong focus on KPI dashboards across Sales and operational performance.
Working within a collaborative analytics environment, you will help enhance existing Power BI assets while contributing to best practice development across semantic modelling, governance, and visual design.

You will have experience across…

• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering
• Solid data modelling skills, including dimensional modelling principles
• Building engaging and intuitive visualisations and dashboards in Power BI
• Extensive Power Query and DAX experience
• Strong SQL capability
• Developing KPI dashboards focused on sales performance, revenue tracking, and operational metrics
• Power BI administration including datasets, workspaces, gateways and Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Managing deployment pipelines and promoting best practice development standards
• Translating business KPIs into scalable, well-structured semantic models

In this role you will be responsible for the…

• Designing and building high-quality datasets and semantic models in Power BI
• Developing visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards tailored to Sales and Operations teams
• Implementing and managing Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure appropriate data access controls
• Partnering closely with Data Engineers to leverage curated data models and optimise reporting performance
• Enhancing and optimising existing dashboards for usability, performance, and scalability
• Working across complex and large data volumes to deliver accurate and timely insights
