Our client is a well-known Australian organisation undergoing a major data transformation and is looking for an experienced Data Quality Analyst to join the team.
As part of your role, you will: –
- Define and document data quality rules, metrics and requirements
- Develop data quality scorecards, dashboards and reporting
- Analyse data quality issues and perform root cause analysis
- Support data cleansing, remediation and migration activities
- Work closely with business stakeholders, data owners and project teams
- Embed data governance standards into the Master Data Management program
- Drive improvements in data quality, integrity and trust across enterprise data
You will have: –
- Proven experience delivering data quality and data governance initiatives
- Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, controls and monitoring
- Experience working on large-scale data or business transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and relational databases
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical governance outcomes
- It will be desirable if you also have experience across a data governance tool such as Purview, Alation or Collibra and some exposure to Power BI as well as SQL.
This role will suit someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and enjoys making a measurable impact through better data.
